WE HAVE EXPANDED INTO PROVIDING PROGRAMMING FOR ADDITIONAL INDUSTRIES AND ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL FIELDS THAT WE HAVE NOT TRADITIONALLY HAD THE CAPACITY FOR.
Launched in 1940, the International Visitors Leadership Program helps promising leaders from countries all over the world come to the United States in the hopes of expanding both their professional network and their understanding of U.S. foreign policy. Over the course of three weeks, emerging ambassadors will cultivate long-lasting relationships, visit multiple organizations related to their program's theme, and participate in numerous cultural events. To begin, all participants travel to the United States in addition to three other cities where they will learn about the diversity of the United States. Those wanting the IVLP experience needn't apply, they have the opportunity to be selected by the staff at U.S. Embassies.
YTILI is a Fellowship Program created by the U.S. Department of State, allowing emerging business owners from Europe to learn the ropes of U.S. entrepreneurship since 2016 The program permits rising entrepreneurs to enhance their business skills while empowering them to create lasting partnerships with business leaders from Europe and the United States. Additionally, the YTILI program includes a virtual customized entrepreneurial curriculum, a chance to engage with alumni, and most importantly, a fellowship with a business in one of nine U.S. cities.
Founded by the United States Department of State, the Young Leaders of Americas Initiative empowers rising business and social entrepreneurs from Latin America, The Caribbean, and Canada to engage in an annual fellowship and active online networking opportunity. Participants will learn about business development and democratic values by attending U.S. Embassy and Consulate held activities. This program specifically targets young people especially women while empowering them to transform their communities.
The Open World Program enables current and future leaders from Eastern European Countries of the former Soviet Union with career launching introductions and relationships formed during this annual program. The program focuses on interacting with Members of Congress, other Congressional Staff, and many delegates that are direct professional counterparts. While conducting this international exchange, Open World ensures that visitors learn the United States' democratic values while giving them the proper tools to build prosperous societies.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers diverse opportunities for U.S. academics, and professionals to teach, research, and conduct professional projects while attending seminars abroad.With a goal of enhancing international relations and cultural diplomacy, this global exchange program paves a way for all walks of life. From those pursuing careers in public health to the arts and media, to technology and biological sciences, Fulbright empowers professionals to take the next step in their career networking.
The Pan Africa Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP) brings together anglophone and francophone emerging leaders in high school and adult mentors for practical leadership and technical skills development, with multiple seminars on conflict resolution, host leadership training, and entrepreneurial classes. Participants will also engage in community service opportunities, receive an overview of U.S. history and institutions as well as participate in cultural activities during their two-week homestay with American host families.
