This year, Global Ties Alabama hosted it’s Annual Meeting and Citizen Diplomacy Luncheon at the Redstone Federal Credit Union Atrium on October 25, 2016. The event was attended by 120 people from all over Alabama. The theme was “Trending: Building Global Relationship While Bringing the World to Alabama.”

Many people were honored and recognized at this year’s event. Our YLAI fellows (Latin America & the Caribbean Entrepreneurs), Open World: Kazakstan and their mentors were our delegates recognized at the event. Interfaith Mission Service, Columbia High School, Chamber of Commerce for Huntsville/Madison, and many others were among the honorees. Rev. Wanda Gail Campbell was Global Ties Alabama Board Member of the Year.

Take a look at our recognition scroll to see the full list of honorees, as well as pictures from the event.
